Friday is here and it’s a hot one folks!

I’m enjoying an iced coffee today rather than hot…..just doing whatever it takes to beat the heat.

If you missed this weeks posts, you can check them out here and here.

Many of you know that today is the daaaaay!  The sun is shining and the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is happening RIGHT NOW!  It’s like Christmas in July for the entire community of fashion bloggers out there! My bloglovin’ feed is full, FULL, of Nordstrom Sale finds from every. single. blogger I follow!  There are a lot of great sales, especially Fall and Winter clothing items.  Although its a little hard to get excited about cardigans and jeans when it’s nearly 100 degrees right now, I just can’t resist a good sale!  If you’re dying to get your closet prepped and ready for the colder months, this sale is definitely for you!  They also have a lot of great things available in the beauty department.

I tried the Peach Citrus White Tea from Starbucks earlier this week and it was surprisingly refreshing and delicious!  It’s a lightly flavored, slightly sweetened iced tea, perfect for the hot Summer months.

I also went to The Grind Coffee House in Columbia for about 45 minutes after work yesterday to work on upcoming blog posts and I must say, it’s a great little coffee shop!  I typically go to Starbucks or Panera, but this locally owned coffee shop has stollen my heart and is quickly becoming a favorite!  I highly recommend it.

Target is also having a two day sale, where you can save 30% off Women’s Mossimo Supply Co using code SUMMER30 at checkout (valid 7/21 – 7/22).

I’ve got my eye on this necklace, this sports bra, and these booties.

We are loving our echo dot!  If you don’t have one, you should!  I didn’t realize how many things they were capable of doing until we got it.  Check them out on Amazon!

Update on my son: As some of you may know, my son has had 4, FOUR, ear infections since February!  We met with an audiologist and ENT on Tuesday who then confirmed that he needs tubes.  While I’m not happy about this, and do not want him to undergo surgery, I do feel it is necessary and am glad we have hopefully found a solution.

Though I don’t have many plans, I’m so excited for the long weekend with my husbands family from Texas!  I foresee a lot of bbq, wine, beer, and pool time in my extremely near future….c’mon 5 o’clock!!

Happy Friday my friends!  Stay cool and safe!
