Fri-nally!!!! (see what I did there? ;))
Lord, thank you so much for letting me survive another work week! Also, thank you for coffee! It’s been a busy week around these parts. I spent Monday and Tuesday at our Lake office in Osage Beach and was on call the past two nights! I’m soooooo ready for a nice relaxing Saturday in bed….. but WAIT….that can’t happen because I work tomorrow as well 🙁 Looks like I’ll just have to settle for a nice relaxing Sunday. I. can. do this. Just. one. more. day! I. Need. More. Coffee!
I snapped this photo on the balcony of my hotel room this past Monday evening! (let us pause to admire this beautiful view, shall we? Indeed……….) I spent Monday and Tuesday at our Lake office in Osage Beach for work and got to enjoy a little pleasure along with the business. I awarded myself with a 60 minute Swedish massage and 30 minute facial at the Windjammer Salon and Spa at Tan-Tar-A Resort. Nothing but pure, overdue pampering for this momma! I enjoyed every, single minute of it! After, I met up with my co-worker for dinner (their brick oven pizza is a-ma-zing) and wine at the Shawnee Bluff Winery which is also where I stayed. It was lonely without my kids and husband but it was so great to have “me” time. I did, however, feel just a teensy bit guilty for making him stay home alone with both kids while I was off enjoying a massage, facial, glass(es) of wine, and a king size bed all to myself 😉
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about starting a vinyl coffee mug design business on Etsy. More on that at a later time.
How cute is this sweatshirt?! It’s also on sale, so I just might be purchasing!
Last week I received these new “shooties”! I mean, c’mon! How could I resist? They’re perfect for transitional weather.
I’ve been wearing the life out of these basic v-neck shirts. Probably wouldn’t shock you if I admitted to having one in every color. Side Note: They’re only $5.00 right now!
Aaron and I have decided to make some last minute changes for our upcoming 5 year anniversary trip. We are currently scheduled to go to Mexico but with all the drug related crimes, deaths and tainted alcohol making news headlines, we’re just slightly worried to travel there. Our travel agent, undoubtably hates us.
Alright, that’s enough from me! Got to get back to work….sigh. Enjoy your weekend!
