Coffee Talk Ed. No 25

May today be the Fridayest Friday that ever Fridayed!

If you missed this weeks posts you can check the out here and here!

We finalized our trip plans for our vacation next month to Dominican Republic.  To say, “I’m ready!” is a understatement.

This has been a very nice, relaxing, “normal” week for me.  No big plans or out of the norm events.  I’ve been working an earlier shift (7am-3pm) which allows me to get off work early with plenty of time to head to the gym to workout or attend classes, run errands, and have a little “me” time before I pick the kids up from daycare.  I’m so proud of myself for going everyday this week.  I feel much better, in general, after a workout.

Addison, began her second semester of gymnastics this week.  She loves gymnastics and I love that she loves it.  What a difference two months makes… 1.  She’s grown out of her leotard (tear) and 2.  She’s a much better listener (so far).  3.  She’s so strong.

Last weekend, my husband power washed our pergola in preparation for staining this weekend.  My son, unfortunately burnt both of his hands on the power washer motor 🙁  The blisters have since popped and they are looking very raw, but we’re doing our best to keep his hands clean and free of infection.  Poor baby.

As you may have seen earlier this week, I am so excited and honored to be featured in the COMO living Magazine.  My story, “A Day in the Life of A Sonographer” is scheduled to be published in the December/January issue. Very grateful and thankful for this opportunity.

I’ve got my eye on this (ridiculously expensive) espresso maker.  Seriously?  Why does it have to be this expensive?  I am currently  looking at other brands and options that won’t break the bank.

I ordered these earrings Monday.  They’re similar to those of ones I’ve been in love with from Nickel and Suede, only cheaper.

How, HOW, have I just started using ThredUp?? What is ThredUp exactly?  It’s a secondhand, high-quality, online clothing store for women and children. I just placed an order and bought 6 items for less than $50. I saved almost $300 on name-brand clothing items (some items were brand new with tags!)! If you haven’t checked it out yet, go now! Use this coupon to get $10 off your first purchase + first-time buyers get %40 off their entire order. It is life changing!  Shop at thredUP and save up to 90% on like-new styles from brands you love: J.Crew, Anthropologie, Mini Boden, Crewcuts, and more.

That’s all for today.  Hope you have a great weekend!
